What is the ROSA® Knee System?
ROSA® is a robotic system made by Zimmer Biomet that assists the surgeon during knee replacement. It uses your images and real-time data to help place the implant with high precision. The surgeon performs the operation; the robot does not operate on its own.
Is robotic knee replacement better than conventional surgery?
Robotic assistance adds precision in planning, cuts and ligament balance. Many patients do very well with either technique. Dr. Acosta will tell you which option fits your knee during your consultation.
